the time I contacted Millionaire Matchmaker

Yes, I really did! And then I took matters into my own hands!

A couple of years ago I was watching Millionaire Matchmaker on BravoTV and on this particular episode there was a VERRRYY good looking guy who happened to be my age and live only a state away-maybe 3 hours from his city to mine. During the episode I thought he seemed like a great guy and down-to-earth!

How cute is he!? Totally date-able!

So, I contacted Millionaire Matchmaker and told them I was interested in meeting this guy! I got an email back the next day that said if I wanted to meet the Millionaires I needed to sign up with the agency and go through the selection process. I really wasn't into that since it's based in LA and I'm about 3000 miles away.

I decided to take matters into my own hands!
Who's not on Facebook these days?! {Remember when it was just limited to students in college? And it required .edu to start a www.THEfacebook.com page? Well, that's a whole 'nother issue...} Getting back on track...I went straight to my computer and signed on. I typed in his name and there he was! Just a cute on FB as on TV! I only sent a friend request. Nothin' too craaaazy! Sometime later he had accepted and sent me a message. I was ecstatic! We messaged back and forth for a while. We talked about UK basketball, his team-which we won't discuss ;/ , Keeneland, and our families. His mom is a nurse, too! So much in common, TRUE LOVE!

Here's one of our first convos:

Last summer I contacted him letting him know I would be in his city visiting a friend. I thought we could all get together for dinner {strange? I think not!}, but sadly, he was going to be out of town for work. Later, he contacted me again and invited me to his lake house over Labor Day weekend. Sadly,{again}, I had to work the entire weekend. {We work 3 day blocks on the holidays} So, I couldn't go at all. :(  Can we say bad timing?!

One day we will meet, my future husband!
{this one isn't married like this one- did you see, he got married this past weekend :( }

What extremes have you gone to for a guy!?

  17. Wealthy daters are often busy managing their riches and have attained their success by having an eye for quality, while attractive daters are usually young, smart and upwardly mobile individuals who are weary of dating losers. This is why they choose to participate in millionaire dating sites.
